Hi everyone ,I am new and considering returning to the MB brand.I am looking for a estate car to carry my dogs around .I have looked at Audi quattro 170ps and taken advice from a friend who has had three of them .

I was going for a BMW 3 touring but they are everywhere and there are huge incentives at present like £2k bmw dealer support and around 12% discounts ,i was offered £5,913 off the car i had specd .

Now i have previously owned a Mercedes ML320 from 2000-2004 ,I was a little dissapointed with the build quality and a week after buying it The car tax thing was dropped and i think from memory i lost £3k over night .

Now i get it that things have changed a lot and there are lots of places you can buy a new car like Drive The Deal .Broadspeed.etc but i am thinking of buying from a main dealer Brighton/Eastbourne Mercedes.

Does anyone have any advice as to what deals i should be looking for or have a supplier in mind as i am happy to travel for the right deal

I want the new C220D sport estate blue efficency ,auto, leather ,metallic,18" AMG upgrade .

I was advised yesterday that there were big discounts on the old engine 220d with like a extra 3k off but all are now sold

Any advice would be great Thankyou Paul

amazing deal .. BMW must be desperate. Which model and what spec?

Paul, welcome to MBClub! - (There is no Carlos equivalent on here)

Not sure how you intend to finance the C Class, but if it is via a PCP there are some very enticing finance package offers at the moment: HERE Sport spec is half leather and the standard 17" double spoke AMG alloys look great.

presumably, there is haggling to be done on top of this too.

The 5 series is being replaced next year, so I imagine BMW are keen to shift the existing stock.

It goes someway to explaining the shocking residual values of certain BMW models. At one stage BMW UK stopped the huge discounts offered by dealers and third party brokers, this time last year decent discounts were virtually impossible to come by. Now they seem to be starting again, it will only undermine the brand in the long term.

You can get big discounts off most of the BMW range at the moment. some of the 3 series Coupe discounts on drive the deal are amazing.

I have to say, I am very tempted!

NO CARLOS no 1/4 mile times how dissapointing.I dont know him but i guess his heart is in the right place.I do find some off his posts amusing

I think that recently there was some very good deals on a c class sports in the 220d version due to the new model with the blue efficency engine .

I have some one in corporate sales putting together a special quote for
me. I will let you know what they come up with as soon as i get it .

regards Paul

drivethedeal.com are offering about 10% off the new blue efficiency diesel engines

Mate of mine just got nearly 18% of a 525d M Sport  BMW must be getting desparate :dk:

Our company gets 15% off all of BMW's, and my boss just got the 535D and aparently got over 7k knocked off the list price!!

Shame they dont deal with mercedes.... would've loved to try the new e-class, e250 blue effciency would be niiiice!
