Hey All

My car is an w202 c240T v6 1998

Does anyone have a guide ore could make one ? how to take the doorcover off? i have a strange sound in there and the window will not open.

I've only done this once & it was ages ago, but, IIRC:

Gently pry off the plastic cover of the door handle. This is the door handle you use to pull the door shut, not the steel one you pull to open the door.

Through a couple of round holes you'll see a couple of biggish screws. Remove them.

Once these are off & starting at the bottom VERY gently pop off a clip holding the doorcard onto the door.

When they're all popped off undo the little metal bar to the locking mechanism & the wire to the door.

Maybe someone else could confirm this is the correct procedure?

This is for a ‘94/’95/’96ish W202… New Page 1 …yours is later and will be slightly different, yours may also have airbags (SRS on the door) but similar thinking.

Basse. Haynes do a manual for the W202. It describes removal with and without airbags. Covers cars up to 2000.
