I am hoping that someone can help me with an electrical fault which has started yesterday.
I drive a 2002 W203 C220 and was driving along a motorway and a message saying "display faulty" came on along with the main beam light and parking brake warning light.
The outside temperature indicator read 85c!
I now get SRS fault and ESP fault on display. It says its 85c outside temp!
My headlamps have flashed on and off, wipers dont work, indicator stalk wont switch headlamps, no pass.
If I sit in the car without the key in ignition the blue main beam light goes on and off.
I have taken battery leads off and cleaned them along with the main earth to the body but they were clean anyway
Has anybody got any idea whats going on. There was no warning or build up to this?
Battery seems full and ok as engine spins over great. but will check voltage today.
The fault comes and goes but is mainly there.
I would be really grateful if somebody could point me in the right direction
Thanks

Display fault

Thought I may add this to my thread above
The faults that I have noticed are:
Display faulty
Parking Brake light on
High beam light on even when car is locked up
SRS faulty drive to workshop
ESP faulty
Door mirror indicators work but front indicators dont
Front wipers wont work at all but rear wiper & wash ok
Brake fluid low, but it is ok
I not sure if ABS is consistent

Can anyone tell me where the control box is that controls the above functions as this seems a good place to start.

I really would appreciate any help with this as I am not familiar with the electronics

Thanks
