DISTRONIC = PANIC!

Left Peterborough for the Lake District at around 11:00, up the A1 to the M62 and over to the M6, all went well with Cruise Control set at a reasonable Speed! First PANIC, coming up behid a 40 Footer with a 50 MPH Maximum Sign on the Tailgate, Distronic decided to put the anchors on, Damp Underpants until I worked out was was happening! ;(

Came off the M2 onto M61 (I think) passed a Slip Road that had a 50 MPH Sign on it, Distronic kicked in with the same result!

Maybe just me not being used to the System, maybe the System is too sensitive!

The above seems an issue with speed limit assist, not distronic. One can disable the speed limit assist although a shame if it needs to be switched off.

Wonder if the issue was solved if the car detected "moving speed limit signs" and ignored those?
