I think your arguments and views around this are rubbish.

Thieves are opportunistic and will take whatever sells for good money. Could be a mobile phone from your hand or your wallet.

Would you blame the wallet company?

You can choose to keep your wallet in an inner pocket so that it is not accessible to pickpockets and thieves, but unless you always keep the car in a locked garage, then the radar sensor stays on the grille whenever the car is left parked in the street... and there's nothing you can do to make it inaccessible to thieves.
