Having spoken to a number of guys on here about Gtechnic (especially their evangelist Developer ), I decided to have the E63 properly detailed and sealed, as although it is two years old, it has only done 17,000 miles and in my hands will be asked to do a lot more each year and I needed something which would both protect the paintwork as well as making it easy to clean.
Lots of good information here on the forum regarding professional detailers and having spent some time browsing threads, websites and personal recommendations, I spoke to Ed at Divine Detail in Coulsdon and arranged for the car to be done.
To say Ed's attention to detail is superb is an understatement. He immediately spotted various marks and scratches I hadn't seen before but was confident all could be rectified. This attention continued throughout the time Ed had the car. A daily update on progress followed, coupled with photos of each stage. Full detail of paint thickness, any signs of new or inconsistent paint etc all came in the email - usually delivered about 10:00pm each day after a full day on the car.
Needless to say the car now looks superb. I have put a few of Ed's photos together to show some before and after shots of the paintwork along with areas like the wheel arches, brakes and the wheels themselves, plus of course the obligatory shot of the engine You will also see some of the products used by Ed during the process.
The car looks stunning in the flesh and certainly had people looking on the drive back round the M25.
Price is the first thing everyone asks - it's all on Ed's website
