I made my self a Sat Nav mount for my car.
I used to door hand plates, whatever they are called.
I hate having the sucker marks left on my windscreen (perps and all that!)and even when there wiped off it's a bit obvious there has been one there as there is now a clean patch on the window:o.

On the base and the lippy things :p is some anti slip mat stuff.

I might paint it matt black as it's little reflective in the sun.

I do like having ago making stuff out of left overs :D.

A fine piece of engineering there.....it should out last the W210 :)

Next time add a few swages to increase the torsional stiffness ;)

I reckon that will bounce like Beyonce's butt on UK's wonderfully smooth roads :D

Nar not on my soft and wallowy 210, also done a bit of 'spirited' test driving with and all good.

Andy, wheres the rust bubbles?

Use some of that cream coloured rust resistant paint to colour code it.

Then give yourself a 30 year perforation warranty :bannana:

Why not just buy a bean bag mount? Tested and pefectly safe in an accident and the reason cops and ambulances use them! £15 good investment me thinks no sucker marks and perfectly safe.

But do they work on the rake of my dash, I doubt it.
