DIY Wheel alignment tools

Are any of the DIY wheel alignment tools any good (e.g. Trackace Laser Wheel Alignment Gauge ) or is it really a case of taking the car into somewhere with 4 wheel laser alignment kit?

I had mine done with a Hunter machine. £100 for a two year deal.
Return anytime for inumerable readjustments.
Not sure on the cost of DIY tools, is it really worth getting your hands dirty?.

For just front wheel tracking that looks to be a useful bit of kit at a modest price. Many years ago before I'd even heard of 4 wheel tracking I made a jig that physically measured the wheel rim distances front and back and it worked well enough that I never had any signs of abnormal tyre wear.
