Good effort. A few questions:

Where are you going?
When are you coming back
What's your address? :)

Just got back safto!

That roof box is one of the biggest you can get and that was rammed as well!

TBH I couldn't fault the car, wafted along the Motorway at 85-90 on cruise and 5 up plus luggage it still did 36mpg.

You did say that was abroad 85-90 mph or was it KPH considering the possibility that Ins companies trawl through these forums in an attempt to have get out clause.

Looks like you need a car like ours ;)

It's got the same engine, anyway :D

I feel your pain. We've managed without a roof box so far but only because there are only two children and they are small enough not to need any room in the rear footwell for their legs!

Impending arrival of dog means we'll be getting a roof box. Probably not for the dog. Or the children. Suddenly the e class estate boot will effectively be little bigger than a Cayman's or something.

ps love Bill's Vito. Compact kids, compact dogs too.

To be honest I could fit in that roof box, it's around 510 litres.

Still cost me over £400 with Wispabars and fitting kit but we'd have been shafted without it and I aint E V E R buying a People Carrier!

have you tried packing lighter? i ask as a father of 4 kids AND A WIFE:doh:

Cool plate
