    Hi folks.

Engine management light keeps coming on.

Does anyone know if my RAC breakdown cover will diagnose the problem and possibly fix it ?

    Regards

    Steve

Not unless you are unable to go anywhere, and then it will just be a simple fault code read from a generic system.....

Best to ignore their diagnosis,if they can't fix it by the road they will tell you anything to get it recovered to a garage.

Yes, they can read codes but you'll be much better taking it to a decent garage.
Unless you are stranded they won't be interested, I would also expect that it'll possibly require parts so a roadside test would only be able to tell you what to get, so it's best to take it to garage and let them do it.
RAC get you running, a garage fixes the fault.
