Dodgy cruise controll

on my 94 w124 the cruise works upto about 50mph thn gets steadly worse and judders then turns off around 65mph

is there anywhere in cambs that might have a look and or replace it if i go there and not want a kings ransome for it

i found a bloke in exeter who would do this but ive lost his details

Just a thought: are your tyres the same size all round? Is one of them perhaps worn more than the rest?
I got similar symptoms when I put the spare wheel on, which had a brand new tyre on, while the rest were about 50% worn.

Worth a check before you spend mega bucks.

Aftermarket wheels can cause this on Smarts too so was going to be my suggestion....

it did it with 17" original amg's with 2 different sets of sized tyres and with my new 18" non merc alloys

just nackerd i think

ill try that merc place
