Does a NTG 2.5 Unit fit/work in 2006 R Class??

HI All

I'm looking to buy a new NTG 2.5 unit, MB part number A251 870 54 94 to fit it into my 2006 R320L CDI which it for sale on ebay.

Questions are:

Does this unit fit/ replace the old unit (swap)?
Will this unit work off of the CDC in the glove box?
Can I retro fit a reversing camera with this unit?

Does anyone in the UK sell this unit (NTG 2.5), fit and swap/trade in for my old head unit (command/APS 10.0/comms/CDC/AUX output)?

1. Yes, you will also need the NTG2.5 retrofit kit on this link: Comand Online Ltd :: Mercedes SatNav/COMAND :: COMAND Retrofit parts :: W164 ML/GL & W251 R

2. No CDC will be useless, remove it and sell.

3. Yes you can fit a reversing camera. You will need the unit coded with a MB STAR system to enable the reverse camera input.

4. Comand.co.uk based in Lightwater, Surrey, they wont trade in your old equipment but you could sell it on ebay.
