Not in mine, you just hook up and go. Could I ask why you thought there might be? I’ve never had a car where I have had to do this.

Some cars do have a “tow” button which is used when that car is being towed by a tow truck, and I think it disables the alarm sensors - could that be what you’re thinking about?

Short answer is it’s my dad’s car and his neighbour has a Q7 (spit-spit!) which, apparently has a tow-mode.
