Can anyone hazard a guess as to the 'hole' on the driver side wing, in line with the scuttle ? What could have been fitted there, as the ad mentions new wings fitted in 2014 so ?

It was a popular spot to fit an automatic retractable radio aerial in the day. Looks like they bunged it with a rubber grommet. If I was having new wings, I certainly wouldn't ruin it by refitting the aerial there. It's distracting and unsightly even if it was a period location. A discreet hidden amplified aerial would be my choice.

Strange as it has a rear wing mounted aerial too. I wonder if the front wings are from a different market
