Does artico stain like leather?

Hi all

Looking at the spec of a w205 or s205 C-class, and quite like the idea of a dark car, maybe cavansite blue, with light seats (prefer grey to biege). Do the grey artico seats seats stain like leather ones do, for example if you wear jeans in them?

The car will be a company car so long term resale value isn't really an issue, but if the seats look grotty after a few months and I'm constantly having to scrub them I may stick to black.

No, they don't. My W204 had Alpaca Grey artico and it's dead easy to keep clean even if you do get a mark on it: just clean it with Flash liquid!

As above. Artico is dead easy to clean. It looks new even after several years.

Obvious downside is that (a) it does not look like leather, (b) it does not feel like leather, and (c) it does not smell like leather.

So if you love leather then Artico won't do - it's plastic and feel like plastic (and I don't mean it in a bad way).

But if you are looking for a comfortable, practical and durable solution - than it does not get any better than Artico.

And yes, I had cars with leather, fabric, and Artico.
