Does being FWD as opposed to RWD put you off the new A class?

FWD or RWD that is the choice for an A Class

Who knows?

At the end of the day, cars are still selling, and I guess the manufacturers analyse what models sell well and those that don't are out the door.

These days offering too much choice can cost you big time margin wise, just that I can't see how offering something that is made to order and is available in different markets already can cost Mercedes UK anything?
It makes no sense to me, surely the only real extra it would cost is in the brochures??

scanning through various lease deals I see:

A Class Diesel Hatchback A180 CDI BlueEFFICIENCY Sport 5dr
£215/mnth (3+23)

vs

1 Series Diesel Hatchback 116d EfficientDynamics 5dr
£241/mnth (3+23)

I'd get the BMW Will, for the extra outlay for the nicer driving manners it wins it.
