It's an L-reg (93/94) S280 SWB and dropping hydraulic fluid like an incontinent schoolboy. The owner thinks it's a leaking self-levelling suspension line under the FNS wheel, not brake fluid. I wasn't aware that model had self-levelling suspension. (The rapidly emptying reservoir is on the front left of the engine bay.) He's sure it isn't a leaking brake line. An early and unplanned arrival in the next world could hang upon the outcome. Does anyone know if he's right (apart from him!)?

Self-levelling

Some did. Call a dealer with the chassis number & ask, check the Russian website or stick your head under the car & look!

Just check the level of brake fluid. If it isn't going down then that isn't the leak.

It does sound like a hydraulic line.
Try running the engine then sitting on the boot edge. This should cause the car to dip then pump back up.

The leak could be on either the high pressure flow line, the low pressure return or the leak off line.
