You get used to it remarkably quickly. I did without a car for seven years (the wife still had one), commuting 6.5 miles each way by bike daily. I think I missed about 5 days in that time due to fog, ice or breakdown, and walked in on those days.

Weather is no more than a mild inconvenience if you have the right gear.

Personally I would prefer the A Class
