So found 2 snapped rear spring and changed like for like (OEM). now it wasn't a bad snap - right at the tail bottom - and didn't affect handling etc but I thought it was a good a idea to change over anyway. So now, the rear sits high!!!! Thoughts please??

You could always replace with some high quality aftermarket springs like H&R or Eibach. It would lower the car and dramatically reduce the likelihood of any springs snapping in future - they tend not to be affected.

Yes, the tips of the springs, a few cm, tend to snap off in the bottom cups, where they can stay wetter for longer. Less usual on the top, but not unheard of.

Often missed even at MOT due to the small amount of snappage

Doesnt look right does it, maybe springs havent been seated properly
