Domain Registration and hosting

Been looking for web hosting and domain registration.

A friends website is using this for their hosting

http://www.qiq.co.uk/technology1_premium.php

10GB of webspace, 100GB bandwidth per month.

Seems a pretty good deal to me at £19.99 per year.

However there domain is registered with 123reg and no chance am I touching them. I am also not convinced about fasthosts.

What would people recommend for the domain registration?
Does the above seem like a good deal for the hosting?

Just to confirm - its is genuinely £1.00 + vat for a whole year - and if you go for enterprise you get 10 domians all in!!! I am using it and there are no catches...

I use 123-reg for my own domain / website and have had no problems apart from occasional down on their own POP servers. You can point the web to any other domain / server anyway and they can handle mail forwarding.

Our company website is on a fasthosts server and this was unfortunately hacked a few weeks ago so I'm not impressed by their security systems.
