Ha,ha. And here am I content with a max 36mpg for a W202 2.3 that weighs a half ton less... Great result btw, even if makes my 190 look like it's got a hole in it's tank!

Well done mine which I've named George because it drinks an awful lot only averages half that. I consider it a small price to pay for a lovely exhaust sound and a few scary moments.

The average since mile 26 is 19.8mpg so this result is certainly a one-off, I can't imagine doing it again.
