Door cladding

Please could someone advise as to how to remove the exterior plastic cladding on late W124 cabriolet/coupe doors. I can see a stainles steel screw at the trailing lower corner but the rest is a mystery.
 
I think you will find that you have to remove the door card and get at them from inside
 
Good question, I have been trying to figure this out myself.

I opened up the inner trim and it looks like the bottom row just unclips by pulling hard and once the bottom clips are undone, the top section comes off by sliding the whole panel bacwards a little.

As I said, I havnt yet done this so err on the side of caution on this one.

I would strongly suggest buying a whole new set of clips *before* removing the panels as your bound to break some in the process of removing the panel, besides which, they dont cost much.
 
as spike says - be ready with some new clips,

firstly undo the screw you have already found

then work along the bottom edge unclipping it - usually a pretty gentle twist of the bottom of the trim will release it

once that is free slide the trim backwards to release the top.
