Door control unit problems

I have a 2003 w209 (clk) but am having intermittent problems with the driver side electrics.
When the problem first occured mercedes replaced the door control unit. This didnt seem to have solve the problem and every so often the electrics fail on the drivers side, door, windows, seats and central locking, this has happened 2 or 3 times over the last month.
The problems lasts a few hours and then all is ok..has any one had the same problem or can shed some light on the issue.

Sounds like harness problem. Maybe use should check ground poits on a door.
