From your description I'd say 5 to 10 mins work. And really bad maybe half an hour ...... 1 hour absolute tops if its unthinkably bad and you really take your time.

I hope he made a good job and it didn't cost you the earth.

I'll tell you tomorrow when I pick the car up, but that will probably be in the dark, apparently it was unbelievebly bad and the protrusion was outwards not inwards. The guy is the person that trains the franchise people in Yorkshire and supposed to be the best there is, don't know the price yet but to be fair if he says If I'm not happy then no payment just buy him a drink he has done a couple of other jobs whilst he has been there though so guess he made his money on those. Will try and post a pic but last time it did not show well in the photographs.

Thats what i thought!! My best mate is a dent man in Surrey and i have never seen him take more than an hour on anything, if its more than that its usually because it needs a bodyshop!!

No bodyshop for this one just a painstaking good job finish is perfect. He will also be doing my Volvo after Christmas as some prat has dented the rear quarter panel in a car park ding and never had the decency to leave a note

Nice, car park a$$holes....They dont even know they have done anything wrong. They assume that everyone else has the same care and consideration for their car as they do themselves. So since they couldnt give a monkeys about their 10 year old mondeo they assume nobody else does either, like we all have 10 year old mondeos too. I had a woman the other day bang the rear door against my car and i was sitting inside it and she knew i was there!!

I was sat in my car in a service area a couple of months ago and I had the same thing the dougnut next to me opened his car (BANG) so I got out and said whats your game mate and he said what,you have just wacked your car door into my car look at the dent you have just put in it,comment was OK mate keep your hair on it is only a car and promply walked off.

So before I left I returned the favour seems only fair what do you think LOL

If he had said that to me i think the dent is the least he would have got.... Maybe a right hook and a wing mirror torn off and thrown through the windscreen...Or maybe thats a bit excessive....!!
