Door hinges

Any recommmendations for lubricating door hinges [previous owner had used white grease, looks very messy].

Do Mercedes do anything specific for this?

Most garages use the white ptfe grease. I complained to my local dealer when they used it on my E55, they sprayed it everywhere and door shuts were spotless before. It's just careless in my opinion, all they need to do is wrap a rag around the arm and spray into it....
