Door Lock on W208

My car does not have the emergency key as it was lost at some point in the past. If I buy this

and swap it on my car, would it work?

Allthough its the wrong colour as mine is more grey

Go to a Mercedes dealer with your VIN and proof of ID and you can have a new METAL KEY BLADE cut to fit your door and the boot lock.
No need for a replacement lock, lubricate the existing lock key holes, boot and doors with WD40.

No worries will do. I thought I might of needed new locks if I went to Mercedes

Be sure to bring plenty of ID V5 I think you need as well.
The locks can be seized up through lack of use so start oiling them now, twice a day, the key may take a few days to arrive.
