Door mirror illumination LED flashing

So as the title says, the illumination LED in the drivers side door mirror has started flashing.
This is the LED that’s on to illuminate the side of the car when using the 360 camera, etc.
Makes using the camera for reversing at night a pain.
The flashing is very regular, ~ once every 2 seconds.
Car is a 2018 C250d coupe, still under warranty.
Any ideas?

I just wanted to check if it was a known issue as this could give more ammo when speaking to MB.
