Door Mirror retaining wire clip

Hi all,
The glass of my passenger door mirror (early C220 CDi Coupe) is temporarily held in place by some tape instead of the retaining wire clip. Does anyone know where I might locate a replacement for the long spring clip that normally holds the door mirror glass at the top in place?

Only available with a new mirror I would think. My N/S mirror glass is a ebay cheapo and came with a new clip for about £20.00 compared to MB at £70.00
