Door mirror

New thread as It easier...... so, my o/s door mirror stopped adj up/ down well over a year ago and I’ve changed the interior control, the module within the door and today removed the mirror glass which was fun as I had to use a flat screwdriver as I don’t have a hook tool..... no sign of broken wires so I’m wondering what the issue is ?? Passes MOT but it’s just annoying that it doesn’t 100% work ! Diagnostic did say open/ short circuit to a component but can’t remember which but I’ve replaced all but put another whole mirror on ?? Any more idea S ??

What car is it?

Its probably going to be the adjustment motor or broken wires in the hinge.

Yep sure was ! White and red wire both completely snapped when I unwound the out liner. Fixed the wires back together and one fully functional o/s mirror again ! Happy days
