Door pins

I've ordered a w205 C63 S for delivery in May. On my current w204 C63 I had the door lock pins replaced with metal AMG ones before I picked it up so I don't have the old plastic pins... Three questions if anyone knows, can I buy replacement plastic ones from somewhere? Would they be easy to swap? And, would the AMG ones be compatible with the w205 model?

eBay sell plastic pins or even Halfords.

Easy to swap, just screw off and on again.

They won't be much from MB. Make sure you don't end up spending more than at the dealers as many still seem to de when buying from evilbay.

Just looked, the genuine Merc ones are £100 on eBay!!!

Ouch! At that price I may as well buy new metal ones for my new car - I'll speak to the dealer.

Am sure I paid circa £50 for a metal set with AMG logo on the top from eBay. Came from China.

Are E63 pins the same as C63?
