Dow Jones & FTSE climb to new heights

If anyone really knows the answer to this and they aren't a billionaire off the back of that knowledge then they're bluffing. My 2p. :)
 
Yep. Interest rates are so low that people who normally save in savings accounts are putting money in equities. I'm waiting to see this bubble burst...
 
Share values are apparently rising because the value of the currency they are listed in is dropping. Funny money! :dk:
 
The DOW is at an all time high...the FTSE is still more than 500 points of the highest it reached...in December1999

A lot of the FTSE have very substantial foreign currency earnings (Miners and Oil companies spring to mind) so their value ought to rise in sterling terms if sterling devalues.
 
I can't remember the last time Mrs. B reached an all time high. :dk:
