Coming home today I was 16 minutes entering a roundabout from about 200 metres and exiting it. I was still in slow moving traffic for the next section but noticed the car was in a higher gear than necessary, and it would change up manually.It was also jerky when coming to a halt at junctions. When I reaached the motorway the acceleration was poor and it proceeded in 6th and wouldnt change up. After about 20 miles I pulled off briefly and restarted the engine. The car was then running as usual.
This happened as well about 2 weeks ago in similar road conditions and also several months ago but not in congested traffic.
I think I will take the car in to my local dealer.
Can any one advise if this is anything to do with dpf regeneration or just a software blip that needed a re set.
My motorway is mainly commuting with 25 miles of motorway each way.
