Talking with my mate last night about cars got me thinking, what would you guys consider your "dream garage" of cars? (assuming you don't already have it!), but not "money no object", so with an eye to cost...

Mine would be:

Mercedes CLS - (my favourite saloon/coupe)

Corvette C5 - (fav outright 2 str sports car)

New E Class estate - (if it's as nice as it looks in the video!)

BMW (yes, sorry!) 645 - (my fav coupe)

Bentley Continental GTC - (is there a better convertible??)

Pagoda 280 SL - need I say more? :)

OK, that's my garage full (and the drive, and next door's drive too!) :D

Zonda
NSX Type R
One of those classic gullwings with a modern AMG engine
CLK DTM
E55 estate ( for taking stuff to the dump )
Factory condition Mk1 Golf GTi
Factory condition CRX VTEC

for now ...

( ooops , sorry , didn't read it properly ...... scrap the Zonda and the gullwing if we aren't talking money no object )

easy.

Bristol Fighter.
Rolls Royce Drop Head Coupe (which beats the Bentley GTC up and down hill everyday. In fact the Azure does too.)
C63 Estate (Shopping car)

And I need to have an Aston Martin so it would be the Virage Vantage (but not the S600 version)
And a 1929 Bentley speed six.

I notice I don't seem to be able to choose any exotica hyper car types.

Am getting old.

Hmmm.....I think if I were to free up a bit more cash, I might swap the BMW 645 for a DB9 coupe... :)

CLK DTM (toy)
G55 AMG (toy)
E55K estate (Hers)
E63 Estate (His)
S63
124 coupe cab E36 AMG
MK1 Golf GTI cab
Sierra Cosworth RS500
Escort Cosworth
Series 1 RS Turbo
Cateram R500

I think thats it....

W124 7.3 AMG (salon or estate) Silver
W124 E60 estate 040 Black
W124 E500 Color does not meter
W124 HAMMER Red
R129 7.3 AMG just for me and her
W204 E63 estate
G55 KOMPRESOR
W201 EVO2

Bit of a "124" thing going here.... :D (by the way, that 7.3 AMG must be a beast!!!)

I'd probably have:-

A nice newish Range Rover (black). Not too pimped up, just clean and classy.
An aircooled 911.
A nice 124 estate - inconspicuous and useful :thumb:
A mint 190E 2.5-16 (possibly an Evo)
Ermm - perhaps a large saloon, S500 or somthing
Maybe an SL - either a mint R129 V8 or perhaps an SL55 R230?

Just because you have lots of money, you don't need to go OTT I reckon. None of those cars need to be new either - few years old will be fine :)

Maybe change a couple of them round now and again, eg SL could go for an Aston Martin after a while, etc.

I think in my case, the list would be a bit fluid. I would like one motor, but then it may lose it's appeal and I would hanker after something else. Either that, or it would have to be an enormous garage!

Here we go - in no particular order of favouritism:

1. 1965 E-Type coupe - no explanation necessary.
2. 1978-ish Corvette - when I was in my early teens, two older lads (different families) on our street (a small cul-de-sac) had brand new Corvettes for their 18th birthdays, both within months of each other. I would get up early just to hear them go up the street! Window-rattling stuff at an impressionable age!
3. 1968-ish 280SL - again no explanation necessary.
4. My S211 E-Class estate. Indispensable.
5. Current 5-litre XKR.
6. Gordon Keeble GK1. Exquisite! Oh - and that huge Chrysler V8.
7. 1970-ish 911. Steve McQueen. Le Mans. 'Nuff said.
8. If I am allowed a modest supercar in the list? 1991 XJ220. Eminently practical!

I could go on all day, but that will do for now!

MB C320cdi for the day to day stuff
S420cdi for luxury trips/grand touring
Lambo Murciolago
Porsche 911 Gt3
KTM X Box
Maclaren F1
Bug Veyron
Q7 V12 Tdi for the snow
Every Generation of Merc SL

in terms of mercedes: a big engine good spec 123, a pagoda sl, 190 evolution, 124 e500, w210 e55 (a couple of) and w210 brabus and a brabus g wagen.

Other cars would include:
Renault 5 turbo (rear engined) and a 5 turbo II,
bmw e30 m3 evo, 1991 alpina b10 biturbo and 2002 e39 M5,
lancia delta integralle evo ii,
Opel Lotus Omega,
alfa romeo junior GTA,
latest porsche gt3 Rs (orange on black)
porsche 993 Gt2
lamborghini diablo sv
ferrari F40 and a testarossa
and a road spec Hummer.

Not asking a lot am i? Then a huge garage to put them all in.

Hey Bpsorrel nice garage, coz your is full you can park the Bentle on my drive as long as I can use it, expect you around sometime this afternoon.

Mine is easy, one of each if funds were unlimited. If I had to be a bit careful:

Mclaren F1 the best super car bar none ( only my opinion guys)
Bently Continental we all need a bit of luxury- black, black leather
Series 1 landi must have folding screen and in army green
Brabus Smart
Aston Martin DBS, that dark gun metal color
E type V12 one of the last 50 (limited to black)
Porsche 911 turbo white with martini stripes
lamborgini 5000 blue
Ferrari Modena red obviously with tan hide

well that's todays list, if you ask me tomorrow it will start with a Mclaren but finish somewhere completely different, welcome to my world
