drive belts

Hi iv a W208 clk how long should a drive (fan) belt last, i had the car serviced oct 08 (due again now)and had both belts changed (well paid for both) and now one of them not only looks older than the other, but has lost all its groves how long should they last?
also does any one know which part no the kompressor drive belt is ma 0119975892 or ma0119970292
as i think they only changed one and would be nice when they tell me it needs changing to say thats the one i paid for last time.

The recommended interval to change the poly v belt is around 50k-60k I think, not sure. But that said they will last a lot a lot longer than that.

I dont think they changed the belt if its in that condition and was only changed when you say.

I have the part number for that belt but not to hand right now. See if I can get it for you later.

many thanks , i don't think they changed it , when i looked a couple of months ago I noticed it looked perished.
, but thought nothing of it. only when i looked to see when it was serviced last i noticed that id paid for both belts!.
