Drive Delayed Engaging

When the car's in Neutral and I go to Drive and accelerate there is a delay before it drives.
I had a gearbox oil leak which has now been repaired and instructed the specialist to top it up again as expected but was wondering if its been topped up enough.
Does this sound like a low fluid level ? Any other ideas welcome

It does sound like it's low on fluid or requires a fluid change.

I'd second that - my box didn't seem crisp when taking up drive - a slight delay in the band taking up , giving a slight judder as control pressure built up - a fluid and filter change made all the difference .
I would have thought that the box would have had a change when the leak was dealt with - they didn't put the old oil back did they ?
