Hi i need to get it change W203 (2005 Cdi) V Belt iam wondering do i have to get genuine v belt and what else do i have to change some says i have to change Pulley when i change the belt?

Thanks

Get a contitech belt made by continental, Same as the Mercedes belt and 2/3rds cheaper, check water pump and idle pulleys for movement when the belts off that's all.

I would fit a quality replacement but not necessarily from MB. The factory belt on my 190e lasted only 8 years before showing signs of cracking. The brand name but none OEM replacement lasted 18 years with no signs of deterioration.

I've always run ContiTech belts with no issues.

Guy's thanks for your reply i will go for ContiTech belt.
Many Thanks
