I have a very un-Mercedes like rattle from the drivers window, on my W208 convertible.
It only really does this over bumps, when the top is down. There is a small amount of movement at the top of the window glass, the rear window is firmly fixed and if I lower the drivers window (top down), with all the other windows up, the rattle stops.
I don't know if it's relevant, but there is also a tiny amount of wind noise when driving on the motorway.
Before I whip the door panel off and start fiddling and making things worse. Has anyone encountered this before, or does anyone know what i should be tightening/adjusting?
