I wasn't sure if this was the correct section to post this question, but here goes.
My 1997 C250td has a problem with central locking, all the doors lock or unlock with the electronic key button, but the drivers door will only unlock or lock with the metal key, and there is a pronounced hissing from the drivers door near the lock. Is it a difficult job to get to the vacuum bit and see what's going on and where exactly the leak is? I didn't want to attempt it and have the damn door in pieces and not be able to get it all back together! lol.. any advice would be most appreciated.
