Drivers electric seat Tilt (auto function) handle broken. W208 CLK

Hi guys, have nay of you ever had the drivers seat tilt handle go on you? all the electrics are fine operating from the door, back and fourth, up and down, backrest moves as does the headrest up and down like it should and the heated seats work too, it just feels like the plastic handle that auto moves the seat if you want to get in the back has ceased to operate and doesnt lock the seat back. So i could walk to the car now and the backrest will just pull fwd as its not locked in place... bot still moves electrically from the controls on the door.. wierd! hoping its an easy fix if any of you know?

Hey Rich, maybe take a pic of the offending part. It sounds like you may well need to take the seat out of the car and take it apart as you may damage the leather in trying to pry it while its bolted down.

Are you talking about the handle that allows the seat to come forwards to allow passengers in the back?

Yeah thats the one just the handle on the side mate, doesnt seem to lock up or down so doesnt 'activate' the auto move function you get with the full electric pack. its like something inside just has come lose or something, quite strange.
