Has anyone got a handbook in pdf form or could someone copy the climate control pages please for me (avantgarde seperate controls) many thanks Jamie

I doubt you can find a pdf for a European car. The climate control features should be well explained in the US manual which you can find as a pdf from the MBUSA website.
