Drivers Heatd Mirror isn t working

Any of you chaps know the inside working of the drivers heated mirror. The passenger one is working. Any ideas or how do you get into the inside working so I can check the connections. Also it moves ok electrically so I am wondering if while adjusting it has pulled a connection off. Could it be the fuse and is it the same fuse as passenger mirror?
Thanks for your ideas

Instructions to remove the mirror & glass are here

http://mbclub.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=4374 (same as 202)

There is a connector on the rear side of the glass with wires going off to control the heating. Possible that its come off, but its quite a tight fit, so I'd say unlikely. Worth checking fuses first though - although can't tell you which one to check !

Good luck anyway

No ? Should be in there somewhere. If not, is the fusebox labelled at all / symbols ? I'd check by pulling some fuses for you on mine, but I know the 210 has a totally different fuse box set-up.

Thanks mate. I managed to find the fuse but it is the same fuse that works the movement of the mirror and that works. I guess it must need another glass with the heated. :(

Thanks again
Ian
