Hi guys. Anyone got any discount vouchers for the Driving Experience?
Was thinking on doing the AMG 63 half day £495. Do you think it’s worth it and what do you get with the package? Cheers chaps

I’ve never paid for an experience at Brooklands, and so I can’t say whether it’s the same Programme, but the full-day events were always fantastic!

That looks pretty good.

It was - I did it about 3 years ago. I did feel it was a little expensive compared to others at the time but the day a Millbrook was excellent.

I suspect a fair chunk will be the cost of the venue, but probably worth it.

AMG used to use MIRA near Nuneaton - which is similar to Millbrook in many respects - and I think it was a better venue than MBWorld.

One whole day at Millbrook. Lots of laps on the racing circuit - (actually a very technical road circuit but in a closed loop), time on the 2 mile circular banked track (puckers your ring piece driving at 140mph, 2 yards away from the armco and being told to look at the horizon), alpine circuit etc, etc . Good stuff. I was actually quite exhaused after 2 days with Ivan. It is intense.

Personally I'm a huge fan of the AMG experiences, especially as I get to use the same / similar car to what I own. There isnt much that is more reassuring than knowing where the limits of your car lie.

For others, getting 3 hours in AMGs on a track, wet circle is quite an experience in itself with great instructors looking after you and teaching you plenty of techniques. I've been on one or two other courses where the instructors care more about their cars than your education and also other courses where you drive a tin can with 4 wheels. All great learning experiences but if you can afford the AMG experience, it is special. It is quality over quantity and you get what you pay for.

I bought the missus a driving experience and she loved it

Go for it
