DRLs

Has anyone any ideas where I might install DRLs on my W211 and if that is possible, where would I wire them into.

If done properly as Karl has shown they do look good, and of course a safety feature.

I did look into it when I had the W203.

The stick-on kits didn't look great, and I didn't want to lose the front fogs (though I lost them anyway when I bought the W204, which doesn't have front fogs).

So instead I set the headlamps to 'always on' from the instrument cluster menu (mine was the facelift model, not sure if the pre-facelift had this option), Swedish Volvo-style.

The downside is that the standard H7 bulbs aren't as bright as proper LED DRLs, but as poor man's solution it worked for me.

Not on my ones, but you can get a model with that feature.
