I have a 57 plate c200 Kompressor which has an annoying drone from the engine / exhaust area when the engine is cold. It only lasts for about 30 to 60 seconds but can be rather loud if I pull away quite fast. When I bought the car last year from a Merc dealer I took it back to them to see if they were able to identify the fault. However, although I left it with them overnight when they started the car in the morning they said they didn't hear any unusual sounds! My year's warranty runs out next month and I was just wondering if I should take it back to them and if anyone here hears a similar noise from their C Class when the engine is cold.
