 My 1991 190E 2.6L (W201 M103) has no fuel at the injectors. A fuel pressure test at the fuel distributor shows very high pressures +100 psi (8 bar). Since the fuel distributor works on a differential pressure scheme could this high pressure be the cause? It looks like the pressure regulator is near the fuel distributor. Any info would be appriciated.

IIRC, the KE-Jet system has a solenoid valve that cuts the fuel supply whenever you coast (i.e. going downhill, in gear, without your foot on the gas pedal).

This was designed to improve mileage / fuel consumption. Could this be a faulty solenoid, closing the fuel supply all the time?

When I get home from work I will try to find where is that valve located and will report back.

OK,

This is what I got... Could be the culprit?
