DTM at Brands Hatch Photos!

My lad and I have just come back from seeing the DTM cars at Brands Hatch. Sorry this isn't modem friendly but here are 40 of our photos of the things we saw.

It was a fun day out without the large crowds you can expect tomorrow and Sunday. We saw a fleet of "vans" that John would approve of Jonathan Palmers helicopter, Lewis Hamilton's car - he's there Saturday and Sunday.

We saw the DTM cars close up and the AMG stand in the paddock!! I'll let you see the rest, but these 480bhp C Classes don't half go and are VERY noisy:bannana:

PS. Tudu-don't go getting ideas about those carbon rear spoilers

Greeeat would love it - wouldn't fancy having to colour match it if it got damaged. They probably can afford to change the whole panel - phew wonder if they would be interested in doing a cf bodykit for a W203?

Cheers Peter. That blue is strikeing isn't it! The SL63 AMG made the C63 look nice and cute whereas the C63 looks mean in isolation. The SL isn't pretty but it has presense- but not like the W204 DTM car LOL!

Great photos.

Last year AMG hospitality was £400 per ticket. This year it was £200 per ticket. Next year it might be £100 per ticket with a little luck!!

I couldn't go as we were due to be on holiday, but would love to. I went on Vauxhall hospitality days for BTCC for their championship winning races and it was a great day. The AMG events look pretty much identical.

Our ML was in for a service, and the courtesey A-Class had a parking permit card thingy on the dash when I drove away. When I parked up I noticed it had been to the race yesterday too, again AMG hospitality. Lucky bunny.

Cheers Bobby. Mercedes had built a two story restuarant in the general paddock, then they had a 100ft long media centre with interview rooms and decking etc. plus the AMG stand I photographed. It must cost a fortune to shift that much stuff around. ..............and still they lost

Hope I'm not being thick, what does DTM stand for?

I'm assuming not Dennis The Menace.
