Dualiner
I am loving my vito dualiner and even the mpg is great

I'm going to get the sport x in 6 months

We looked at the Sport X but I'm not personally keen on the side rails it has, and we needed 3 front seats.

I like the wheels and front bumper though.

I get a new dualiner every 6 months so thought the sport x would be a change, I have driven one a few times and love them, with you needing 6 seats it's a no no

Mechanically the Sport X is the same as any 120 (or 122 now) - they all drive the same, just cosmetic differences.

I personally think M-B should at least lower the suspension slightly as VW do with their Sportline (which IMO looks fantastic - shame it only has a 2 litre 4-pot).

I like the wheels and front bumper though.

So do I, but at £2600 for a set of four and (IIRC) around £1000 for a bumper I've decided to give them a miss, for now at least.

It's a van...what's all this talk of wheels and bumpers...

What you need is paint...

If you ever want to do a 2012 upgrade on the front end of your Vito, let me know because I can get the full set for a good price Paul.

Wheels would be first on the list although the Brabus bumper is very smart.

Sounds good, is that a sport X face lift?

SPX is that to convert a mark 2 vito pre 2011 to the new more angular looking front of the mark 3 2012 version ??

I have been looking into this for a bit and want to do it in the future to mine i think .

As far as i know all you need is :-
new bumper/grill
new wings/wing inner liners
new headlights

anything else i have forgotten ??

Any further info you may have appreciated

Nick

When I get back on Saturday, I'll get you some rough prices.

It's to update a 639 to a 2012 front, from memory it's bonnet, wings, headlights & bumper, but I'll let you's know probably Monday.

Had approx parts cost from SPX a while ago as per below :-

About £1400 for full front with headlights without LED's, add another £400 for this with LED's.
Pre facelift bonnet is the same.

am slowly collecting parts to do this in the future,

got so far

Bumper with holes for parktronic and washer holes for Bi-xenon headlights

front grille

electric folding 2010 vito mirrors

to get :-

wings left and right

inner wing liners

bi xenon headlights

headlight switch with wash function

headlight washer system parts as required Plus some idea of what needs to be done to install them

Cant think of anything else at the moment apart from time to get the stuff sorted out and someone to fit it LoL
