To lighten all the doom and gloom around, take a look at this which I have spotted down the road from me:

Probably holding the car together. It is a Ford after all! ;)

Duct Tape is like The Force: It has a dark side, a light side, and it holds the universe together :D

It also makes for a great "styling" addition to an older Ford Focus... :thumb:

If I caught you taking photos of my car you'd better learn to duct

Tacky....

Maybe he was told you only become a real driver once you take your first car and wrap it!!

Coat please!!

I'm considering a fluorescent honeycomb reflective red tape for this purpose.

I have it on good authority, it will add at least 150 bhp, and produce an additional 300 units of that torque thingy everyone is talking about.

LOTUS = Loads Of Trouble, Usually Serious
FORD = Fix Or Repair Daily (I've had five of 'em too.)

;)

I loved my ST. Most reliable car I`ve owned for a long, long time. I actually regret changing it

Of the many cars we've had over the years, our Y-reg Mk3 1.3 Ford Escort Ghia was probably our most faithful servant. When we got it, it had only been on the road for 6-months from new, but had then been parkedin a neighbours orchard for three-years (long story). The brakes were seized on, the clutch was seized (had to split the engine and gearbox and lever the friction plate off the flywheel), etc. etc. But a couple of weekends and it was good to go.

We had that car for more than ten-years. Yes it broke down from time to time, but it was a great little car and just what we needed at the time.
