Dull thud noise... any ideas???

Ive noticed in the past few days that i am occasionally getting a dull thud noise coming from the rear of the vehicle, it only happens sometimes and is when i go over a bump in the road. It appears it may come from the rear offside area however i am unsure of this.

Any ideas what it could be??

Anti roll bar bushes - had similar on mine, athough it sounded like the rear it turned out to be the front (the outside one where the bar mounts on the lower arm). Cured it after taking the bush off and re-fitting.

loose item in the boot? (inc. spare wheel)

Rear subframe bushs look with a torch through the alloy wheel and you can just see the bushs (well you can on my car)

Possibly diff hitting floor as bushes do wear badly if car is high miles.
