For a CL 420 front - I run pirrelli P zero asymetrics ATM, and the dunlops came in cheap (130 a boot as opposed to 180+ for the pirrelis)

looked at dunlops website - no comment on how they compare wear wise to otehr dunlops - or noise, or grip... just lots of 'theyre really good' waffle.

I remember a website somewhere (thought it was blackcircles.com) that had loads of compare type stats... any know of one?

I have Dunlop SP9000 on my SL, they are ok. Cant really comment on wear as I have been quite unfortunate and had many puntures in unfortunate places that meant the tyres needed to be replaced. My fronts were replaced in July time last year and they still look really new and have not worn much.

May be worth giving your local MB dealer a call as sometimes they can suprise you... my last two came from MB Canary Wharf.
